This is a must! Perfect with steak or some smoked salmon. It is quick and easy, tastes so good and can be put together with a starter or with a main course. You might want to stock up on some mints for afterwards though.. Enjoy!
1 large shallot
100ml white wine
King prawns/ tiger prawns
1 small pot double cream
3 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
Garlic olive oil
- Melt the butter with the olive oil in a frying pan.
- Add the shallot and garlic and leave for 2 mins.
- Pour in the wine and stir until it reduces by half (usually around 3 mins).
- Stir in the cream and prawns and cook until the sauce is thickened (around another 3 mins).
- Then serve!
