Many of you will be going to a firework display this weekend in aid of bonfire night. Unfortunately there are no firework displays for me over here in Germany.
Apple crumble is perfect for afterwards. A real British classic and will warm you up this bonfire weekend. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
150g flour
70g butter
50g caster sugar
1tbspn cinnamon powder
2 apples (peeled, chopped and cored)
- Preheat the oven to gas mark 5/ 190 degrees
- Add the apples to the pie dish and add cinnamon powder on top
- In a large mixing bowl add the flour, sugar and butter. Mix with your fingers until it forms a crumbled mixture. Pour the crumbled mixture over the apples
- To eat right away place in the oven for 35 mins or leave to one side and place in the oven later on when you arrive home from the firework display.
